who else think proms are big rip offs and a waste of time?
I think it’d be more fun to just go hang with your date at a nice quite place. And that whole prom king and queen thing is bogus too.
I know you probably think that my opinion is stupid, but I want to hear your opinion. Tell me why YOU like or dislike prom.
I don’t like them for the dirty dancing and for…dancing in general while being surrounded with people I don’t really wanna talk to. I actually love your suggestion! Plus people waste money on ‘the perfect dress, accessories, etc.’ when that money could go to their college fund or somewhere more useful. The prom stuff will only last unless someone is the same size and uses the dress in some other occasion. I don’t like the prom king and queen either, it’s just a big popularity contest.
