How do you get the dark stains off of CHROME shower knobs, soap dishes, and kitchen faucets? Tried everything.
Every products that claims to clean and shine the chrome—doesn’t. They are dark and spotted with stains that wont come out even after several hard scrubbings with various pads and cleaners..
im thinking you may have cleaned them with something that may have taken the finish off of them. the chrome finishes are so thin, it doesnt take much . i used CLR in my tub once and my faucets were black just like you explained. i dont think you ll be seeing those things shine again
