FAUCET DRAIN ANTIQUE Q & A

Re-coating/ enameling a cast iron kitchen sink?
I have an antique farm house high back, single basin sink. It is about 5-6 inches deep (basin). I am interested in having it refinished. The only damage is located around the drain where it’s chipped. And where the two holes are where the faucet came through was chipped a bit.
I am planning to use this sink in my bathroom when we build our home so it will not be a heavy use sink if that matters.
What method is best? I’ve heard of powder coating, and re-enameling? And when searching for someone to do it, what are some good questions to ask.
Also…where can i shop online to find a faucet for this sink. There are only 2 holes in the back wall of the sink. So the actual faucet where the water comes out is connected in the middle of where the hot/cold knobs come out of the wall.
I live in South Mississippi, so if you know anyone or company that does this service you could recommend…Even from NOLA, Hattiesburg, Mobile, Ala and surrounding that would be great.
they make a liquid repair kit for scratches and chips that that is used for appliances that get damaged , ie chipped or scratched. i have found a lil bottle of this at both home depot and lowes, good luck!
