How do you get rid of huge welt like things on the neck?
I am asking this for a guy friend of mine. He doesn’t get acne on his face really, but he always seems to get these dime sized welt like zit things on the side of his neck. Sometimes they are even nickel sized. They are usually hard like a cyst or something. He can’t really pop them because it’s like there isn’t anything in it to pop. They usually go away after like 2 weeks or so. He thinks maybe they are stress related. Does anyone else get these? Any ideas on how to get rid of them? They are kind of gross, i have to admit.
Ooh honey. I know they are gross but he can’t help it! My brother used to get them too, and I have had one or two but i think it is stress related. I find that I get them when I am tensed up and it seem to coincide with the release of tension. I have always thought of them as the impurities and tension coming out of the body. I would try and drink more water, try a remedial massage to release the tension and leave them alone, trying to pop them will only prolonge them and make them deeper in the layers of the skin. They are sore too and feltl to me like a bad bruise. I would love to know what the medical cause is…….. It is most likely a pocket under the skin that has bacteria that is causing an inflamatory reaction which makes the lump but they are deep and big.. but yeah, I can’t say as I am not a Dr. And you can’t get rid of them, just be thank ful they are not on his face.
