How do I make double layer cupcakes?
I’d like to make cupcakes that are lemon on the bottom layer and strawberry on the top layer. How should I bake them to make sure that the batters don’t mix?
After you have made your batter scoop a small bit of the one flavor in the cupcake liner. Then scoop the other flavor on top of the first flavor. Bake just as you would if it were one flavor.
You will have to be careful as you are scooping the one flavor on top of the other. Just thinking about it it might be easier if you put the batters each in a zip top bag and snip off a corner and gently squeeze the batter into the liners.

By the way even if you get some mixing where the two meet I think it will look very pretty.
