My water bottle stinks.?
I don’t buy bottled water. But I have a refillable plastic water bottle for the gym and it stinks! I wash it but it still stinks.
I only fill it at the gym with the cool water fountain there, so it never has stagnant water.
Should I recycle (it’s new) or is there a green way to get the smell out since dish soap is not doing the job?
You could try filling it with water with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda added. Leave overnight, then rinse out.
Bicarb solution is also very good for washing out fridges, coolboxes etc.
