Hole saw able to cut 316 stainless steel?
I work for a company that builds stainless steel purification units. Part of the process includes cutting holes into plates that are 3/8″ thick. Is there a hole saw that can handle such stress from the higher nickel content and give a whole lot more than two cuts? I know it would cost more, I just wanna see what’s out there before going to the boss about it.
Arc air or plasma is the fastest. In an industrial setting that is concerned with cost, that would probably be the best choice.
