How do I change a kitchen faucet?

I need to replace an old kitchen faucet with a new one, how do I do it?

kind of hard to tell you w/o knowing what kind you have, but here gos,1st thing is to turn the water supply lines off under the sink,then turn both sides on and let them drain,remove the supply lines and move them out of your way.
look under the sink to see where the faucet is connected to the sink at,some have nuts (plastic)
around each side of the water supply,others have nuts and washers that are attached to the faucet it self,remove if that’s the case, remove the old faucet from the sink and clean all the gisum out from where the old faucet set,this part is optional,before installing the new one take some plumbers putty and make a rope out of some and put it completely around the base gasket of the new faucet,then just do everything else in reverse of removing it,it might be a good idea to replace the supply lines while you doing all this,would hate to get it all back together and have a leak due to $3.00 supply lines,oh ya,don’t use the plastic ones that come with the faucet,you’ll regret it
